This information is for staff of hospitals and similar facilities viewing patient or resident records.
The person who manages your organisation account (the ‘stakeholder representative’) must:
- Nominate people who need to view cause of death by adding them as ‘users’:
- While setting up the organisation account, or
- Later, via Account > Invite users.
- Email us at bdmregistrations@justice.vic.gov.au (External link) to let us know these users need to view cause of death. We‘ll then add the necessary permissions to the user account.
The stakeholder representative can also view cause of death if required.
