Here at the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages Victoria (BDM), we don't hold any divorce records or issue divorce certificates.

To get a copy of your divorce record or for any other divorce-related enquiries, see the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia(opens in a new window)

When you file for divorce, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia will ask to see a copy of your marriage certificate. If you were married in Victoria and need a certificate, see Get a marriage certificate.
