Divorce

Here at the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages Victoria (BDM), we don't hold any divorce records or issue divorce certificates.

To get a copy of your divorce record or for any other divorce-related enquiries, see theĀ Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (External link).

When you file for divorce, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia will ask to see a copy of your marriage certificate. If you were married in Victoria and need a certificate, seeĀ Get a marriage certificate.
